For PlayStation 3 on the PlayStation 3, a GameFAQs message board topic titled 'Finally! Serious Sam 3: BFE - on a PS3!'

From what I've noticed, it's barely running at 60 FPS. It also has dynamic lighting disabled, but it has bloom.

So it's not all at lowest settings. I was hoping for something a bit more detailed from the advanced settings, maybe something from Croteam themselves. I'm currently running this thing on a toaster averaging about 35 - 50 FPS on Lowest, Medium, and Lowest in the advanced settings. I'd set it all to lowest, but good God it's ugly to look at. Even the PS3 looks more appealing, hence why I'm asking this in the first place. Originally posted by:From what I've noticed, it's barely running at 60 FPS. The PS3 definitely doesn't run it at 60 FPS as the 360 version is running at around 30, and the 360 in many respects has a more capable GPU and better memory layout. You don't need an incredibly machine to run it at Ultra - I have a 660, a very modest card, and I run it at all Ultra at around 50-60 FPS average in most cases with occasional dips down into 25/30 if it's particularly intense/in a few of the more lush environments.

Not a locked 60, but more than playable and it looks great at those settings. PS3 is running with dynamic shadows disabled. But it is not byte-to-byte equivalent to PC, as we worked for almost 2 years to port it to Xbox 360, and then PS3. There was a lot of content optimizations on PS3 (things like removing extra decorational models in levels and making more aggressive LODs). And PS3 uses dynamic texture and lightmap streaming.

That is something that is not available in SS3 engine version, only in newer ones, like The Talos Principle. But other than that, as for GPU Speed option, PS3 is most similar to 'Lowest'. Turns out my TV has a smoothing option that made the game look like it was running at a higher framerate. Just played the 360 port again, it averages around 40 FPS using the in-game FPS counter. I'm a bit curious what the 360's graphics are like. Shadows look very clean, textures look quite nice, someone said it looks worse than lowest settings, which seems to be quite wrong.
